Each year at Ukarumpa, the students (and many adults) put on a community wide event - Carnival. Being as we cannot simply jump in a car and go see a movie, or go to an amusement park (not even sure if one exists in all of Papua New Guinea...), getting Titus into a stroller and walking down to the school for Carnival is the closest thing to fun and excitement here.
With a variety of familiar and delicious foods, all sorts of activities, and lots of people running around, Titus (and Kara and I) had a really good time...
